Introducing Macarone AKA Macarone Brown AKA Mac Brown AKA Queso AKA K.O.S.A (King Of Santa Ana) 

Macarone comes straight from Orange County CA. That’s right OC! Mac is the founder of DOP Inc Records (The Definition Of Propaganda). Mac is also one of the founding members of the group NuttHouse and County2County. NuttHouse was Macarone’s first group. Based out of Santa Ana and Anaheim CA NuttHouse started back in the late 90’s with their first underground CD, “Some Shit From The Garage”.

Even though the group experienced some success selling CD’s in OC record stores, liquor stores and swap meets and performing all over the county, the group broke up. As the last standing member of the original NuttHouse, Macarone recruited two new top notch rappers to pick up where the ex-members left off. Mac, LowDown, (his homie since he was a teen) and Trash Bogard, (his little brother) formed the new and improved NuttHouse.

The new group would string along a nice run of underground CD’s as a group and as solo acts. The three rappers ended up writing and producing 14 CD’s combined on the DOP Inc Label by NuttHouse, Macarone, LowDown, Trash Bogard and later Trash’s group HalfPound, Lil Spark (Aka Jay Spark) and the County 2 County Compilation which featured acts from LA and Orange Counties. Eventually, LowDown left the label, but again Macarone held DOP Inc Records together by putting out two of his most popular CD’s, “Life’s Sentence” and “County 2 County-Tha Compilation” which was a joint project with C9H Productions. In 2009 NuttHouse has dropped a new album called “Tha HeadShoppe” and Macarone dropped another solo called “Solitary Confinement”.

In 2010 keep an eye out for Macarone’s newest project, the Watch Out for the GOP Movement CD, right in time for the mid-term elections. Watch Out for the GOP is basically the political branch of DOP Inc Records. Mac has always felt that his friends were not engaged enough in politics, so with the momentum from Obama being elected, he thought it would be a great time to get his people involved. Eventually the Watch Out Movement grew into it’s own thing. DOP Inc Records and WOftGOP, have begun making a mark in the community by getting out there and doing their part by being activists for Liberal and Progressive issues and promoting these ideas.

WOftGOP also has a section on the DOP Inc Records website that has politically themed videos, news stories and more all dedicated to keeping an eye on the GOP and their shady ways.
